Congratulations are in order! Christi Fuller earned the position of manager as of February 1st!

Christi started her first direct sales business just a year and a half ago on a trial basis. Soon she realized how great the opportunity was for growth, and started to build a team. That foresight has led her to the management ranks at Richmont!

Christi has vast experience in the corporate world, in Book keeping (office management), restaurants (all positions), and Childcare (Kindercare Learning Centers). She is the mother of four beautiful and wonderful young adult's - Billy, Steven, Bradley, Taryn. She is also a very proud grandmother to Riley Steven.

Christi says she chose Richmont Direct because of the variety of product, the lucrative compensation plan, the opportunities offered, and the Rochon family values. She also has a great respect for family business since she grew up in her own (her family owned several restaurants).

Christi's goals are to maintain a flexible schedule, to have the time to spend with her children and family, and to achieve the financial freedom to assist them in building and succeeding in their life goals and ambitions. She says, "My dream is to be completely financially independent!"

Terra Cotta Baker Testimonial!

I cannot even believe I am writing this e-mail about COOKING!

I purchased the Terra Cotta Oval baking dish from Richmont. Linda Ohta had sent me some recipes when I ordered this over a month ago. The dish has sat on my table in my home since.......

So today I was going to make stew.. in the crock pot (my old way of cooking....) I was talking to my mother this morning and I had sent a dish to her for Christmas - because she is a great cook! That reminded me, (hello!) cook your stew in your Terra Cotta baker so you can really see how it works.

Well I never read the recipes before I did that of course. I just put in the meat, potatoes, carrots, cream of chicken soup and some gravy mix, water season salt, and mixed it up and baked it for 21/2 hrs. (I think it would of been ok at 2 hrs but hey- I was gone visiting with some gals)

I came home and I was just so amazed! It wasn't "BURNED" it was just perfect! It needed no salt or pepper. I was bragging how good it looked. Even my husband commented on it. FAR better than stew in the crock-pot! How easy was that!

No browning the meat. I pounded it but I don't think I would of had to. I didn't measure anything. Just put it all in and mixed it up. Poof! Left the house and came back it was done.

Those who know me know just why I am so amazed how good it was. So all you Betty Crocker sisters - or any of you out there, if you have our Terra Cotta baking dish you have to try it! It is one great product! If you don’t have it… get one NOW! It’s how to make cooking easy and it makes you look good!

Claire Olsen joined Richmont just a short time ago. Within two months time, she has alread promoted herself to the position of manager! Claire is a striking example of positive, energetic, supportive leadership! What an asset to our Super Star Team!

Claire is married (30 yrs this yr) with 4 wonderful children. She has been involved with Direct Sales for many years. Recently, however, things have really begun to "click" for Claire! She realizes that this is what she loves to do! She knows that Richmont has the products she loves to offer, and the future she wants to build!

Claire was previously with another company where she observed what it meant to be a leader and just how to run a home based business. When that company closed their doors she went looking for another with strong values, products she could sell and a great compensation plan. After much searching and comparing, Claire found her home at Richmont. Her success is just beginning!

Kathy Enselman, from Woodinville, Washington has promoted to the position of manager! Kathy is an incredible leader! A true SuperStar!!! And we're proud of her!!

Prior to joining Richmont Direct, Kathy had a 25 year career in banking and finance. She also spent several years as an at-home Mom with two children.

Kathy was introduced to Richmont Direct by a neighbor that asked her to host a party. Kathy enjoyed the party and the free, high-quality product she received. Since she was looking for a job with a flexible part-time schedule, she decided to try Richmont Direct. It was a perfect fit, and the rest is history! Kathy soon found it almost impossible to keep from sharing the Richmont opportunity with friends and party guests. Realizing that her "team" would be made up of friends, she became motivated to build and grow her team, and has been sharing the opportunity ever since!

Kathy holds one of the highest party averages in the industry. She earned her trip and traveled with Richmont to Ireland last year. Catalog Party Success

This is the time of year when we start seeing more catalog parties than usual. You might be at a home-party and have several guests who are “too busy” to host a party in their home, yet want lots of free product! A catalog party is a perfect solution for this person – she can simply pass the catalogs around, collect orders and receive free products! And it’s wonderful for you because you earn the same commission on these parties as you do on in-home demonstrations!

I thought this might be a great time to give you some tips for a successful catalog party…

#1 MOST IMPORTANT… coach and stay in touch with your hostess! It’s really easy for a well-intending hostess to go home, set her packet aside and forget about the catalog party she just booked. When that happens, no one wins! So… I can’t encourage you enough to stay in touch with your catalog party hostesses:

** Did you set a definite closing date with your hostess? Do! And let her know you’ll be in touch with her periodically between now and then.

** Did you see that your hostess set a goal? Do! Is she working to earn a specific product? Remind her of that goal every few days. Make friendly, encouraging calls to your hostess – your partner in success.

** Did you help your hostess form a “list” of people whom she will contact? Do! It’s just as important as a guest-list for an in-home party! Her “list” might include co-workers, family, neighbors, parents she sits and watches the children’s games with, friends, etc.

** Did you supply your hostess with catalogs and encourage her to take them everywhere she goes between now and your closing date? Do! Encourage your hostess to sit down WITH her friend and go through the catalog together. This is far more effective than leaving a catalog with a person and telling them to contact her if they want anything. Your hostess will obtain more, and larger orders if she browses the catalog with her friend and then takes the catalog on to the next person.

** Did you tell your hostess that bookings count? Do! Be sure your hostess knows to offer the booking opportunity to each and every one of her customers. Some will want to host a party of their own, and that means more free products for your hostess!

** Did you teach your hostess to engage the help of others? Do! We forget this one so often, but people help people. Tell your hostess to loan a catalog to her friend to take to work, etc.

By following these few simple steps you can be sure your catalog sales and future bookings will increase!

I tried something at my party last night that turned out to be really fun and profitable! I encourage you to try it at your next party...

I placed a party order myself and got some jewelry samples to have on hand and sell "off the table" at my parties.

At last night's party I asked each guest to choose one of the samples to "borrow" for the evening. They were free to wear the item or set they had chosen.

At the end of my demonstration, I asked each person to look up in the catalog their item and tell us the story that goes with it. I asked them to also tell us whom they would give that item to and why. They each then took a turn telling us about their item. They did a superb job! They're all natural consultants! And I told them so!

This party was outdoors, and you should have seen these ladies "sparkle" in the sunlight!! They loved the stories, they chose people to purchase jewelry for, and they laughed together as they made no bones about the fact that some of the purchases were for themselves!! They were also thrilled to know that the jewelry would come with a story card to give with the gift!

I've not sold any jewelry at my previous parties. Last night I sold six pieces. And those that I had in stock, I let the ladies take home that night. I'll reorder those on the party (so the hostess doesn't lose any credit). I'm asking the company to ship the jewelry purchases from this party directly to me to replace my stock for the next party.

I encourage you to try this! It's a great way to boost your party sales!
